There’s always been a good deal available on the sub, and it’s well, well worth it. Although they have been a tad stingier since the Times took them over.
At any rate, my year for $1 / month was coming up next month so I went to unsubscribe and at least today - at least for me - they offered me $9.99 for the entire year.
I jumped on it. All good through December 2025.
Just throwing it out there for those who already subscribe. And if you don’t subscribe, just about anybody here who does will tell you it’s well worth it.
Edit: I am not saying don’t support sites you read many articles from as that is needed. But if you are reading like 1 or 2 a month then the above is very helpful.
I agree if you are regularly visiting a site. Or if its a small independent creator absolutely pay for it. But otherwise theres multiple work arounds for most pay walls.

Thanks for the heads up. I just canceled and got the new price. I paid $19 for the year instead of $71. The article are really good so it’s definitely worth that.
Been a member since 2019 - well worth it. Mine come up in October. I cancelled at that time and got $24 rather than $74. Its really the only news site I pay for. Happy to pay $24, but $9.99 for the year is even better! Harumfff!
Maybe it’s the date or random, I don’t know. But I know my next billing date was Dec. 27. Still, $24 is also a great deal. As Puke said, the NFL content alone is worth it.
