Seems like 9 or more DL in the 1st round is free money.

Yeah but it would suck if we drafted different and you lost the bet because of that.

Great point

If I make that bet… I would also bet Lions to draft OL first which is +250

I think the only way I could lose would be if we traded out of round 1 for a team that wants QB,WR, RB

and then neither Buffalo, Washington, KC or Philly goes DL

Zurlein just did a 7 round mock. He has Oladejo going pick #35

And there is the rub. If you really like the kid. And you want him…he isn’t gonna make to you late 2nd round. Lions have met w him 6 times. That is all i got. It could be at 28…it could be early 2nd if they trade back. You are getting hung up on where he gets taken and i’m just saying they have paid him a great deal of attention and during a convo w two seperate buddies direct quote:

“they could take him at 28…if they stay at 28…he is in the group of possibles and i say that bc oh by thebway 6 visits and brad top LT met w him in LA off the books”.

I’m not hung up on anything. I was just confirming what you told us from Zerlein’s mock.

Yes of course if we are going to take him earlier than most expected it would be great if could trade back like we did when we got Gibbs. get an extra 3rd

That’s a grand slam if he pans out and the early 3rd pans out as well.

Maybe Brad was just doing some thorough research on Jay Toia the NT from UCLA that he might draft in the 6th round? lol

Or Carson Schwesinger

I doubt it, Brad already signed 2 LBs to play special teams this year

Yo ho nobody knows the draft is on the horizon and O-nobody knows how it will flow, it’s just sit your ass down and wait and see, same with all of you as it is with me. No need to fight, argue ,piss and moan, get you some draft day grub and drink and act all grown *

And how many DT did he sign?

I think it’s the choice at #28. It’s who I chose for the Lions at #28. Brad will not ■■■■ around.

In the 6th round you may be able to hide Toia on the practice squad for a year unless we just cut BroMart.

Ughh we spent 3 picks on Bromart

We ain’t cutting him in fact I bet he gets a 2nd contract

Are you just trying to torture us? Actually I would be very happy as long as he earned it.

Levi, Paschal, and Bromart all redeeming themselves year 4 of rookie contract.

Maybe…: But if you draft well and if you can anticipate that the player would be poached late in the season, that sixth round pick would be better used to move up in the draft, wouldn’t it?

for one thing , the raw players we sent out bc of all the injuries, will no longer be as raw-they had a tough road to plow on the way to 15 wins, but don’t know what will take place this season…

Yes, I agree with what your saying. In this case I think it could be BroMart that is the one that is cut and reclaimed to the practice squad. With all the injuries we had on the D Line last year and for him not to even be dressed on game day when we have street FAs out there playing is concerning. I think Toia could offer more than that.
