Welcome to 58% day! Where we celebrate the 58% of the guys drafted today that won’t be with their original team before their rookie contract ends!
Hopefully they find another gem in the 4th.
I maintain that the glass is half full.
I maintain that there is a glass and there is an amount of water in it. How much? I don’t know, let me measure it. ![]()
So essentially the McCoy situation is that this second bone plug surgery is for all the marbles. It doesn’t take career is over. It takes and you may get a massive steal.
Feels like Howie is circling this.
Last ten years average amount of players selected at each position from pick 101 to our current day 3 picks. Might be helpful if some are looking into which positions may provide value at various stages today.
Would it surprise anyone if we took 2 TEs today? I vow to (something stupid) if the Lions don’t draft at least one TE today.
I read this morning that the Dallas team doctor is like the preeminent guy in this field or something. They said not to be surprised if Dallas takes him because they would know more than anybody
Who are the inline types?
I want Keionte Scott so gd bad. Make it happen Brad
Yeah, considering the historic amount of TEs taken in the first 3 rounds in a bad overall TE class.
I’m thinking Nowakowski and Bentley, but the only one I had a firm opinion on flew up the board to #56, Boerkircher.
Draft don’t lie, so we’ll see. I think there’s still meat on the draft bone.
Riley is a move blocker though. He’s really good at the H-Back blocking stuff but nowhere near as good with his hand in the dirt. He’d be a great FB/TE hybrid option though. I’d very much welcome that.
He’s also recent convert to TE as I recall. He should be ascending.
Yeah, that’s not necessarily true. Was the QB class in 2021 good just because 8 were taken in the first 67 picks? Positions get over drafted all the time, even when they’re not great.
Whether or not any good TE are left now are a different story. But I don’t expect anyone drafted today to make a huge impact, so I’m probably not the best person to talk about it. Everyone left is a dart throw. A couple might hit, most are going to miss.
