What does Tyler Conklin not having any guaranteed money on his contract have to do with the quality of TE in this particular draft?
So because he has no guarenteed money, that means that any TE coming is going to come in and automatically push him out? Tyler Conklin has been in the NFL for 8 years, has 4 years of 50+ catches, and has played 127 games. Most day three picks aren’t even on the team they’re drafted by after 4 years and will likely be out of the NFL entirely.
Forgive me if I tend to side with the proven guy over the dart throw.

I’m not saying they should or shouldn’t draft one. You asked if anyone asked if they’d be surprised if the Lions drafted two. I think that would be surprising.

I have a last name for a first name as well, so I’m allowed to trash it lol.
Historically though, Jaxon, Jaxson, Jackson comes from “Jack’s son” and is a last name. Same with Carson (son of Carr) and Treson (Trey’s son).
And so ends my rant about names, back to your regularly scheduled programming. Hey at least it’s sort of on subject since @CuriousHusker has his double-first name rule for draft prospects.
