🏈 The Den Draft Day Thread: Day 3 (4-7) 🏈

I like Miller from Alabama.

He just went. Pats took him.

Mr. Irrelevant is: Red Murdock, LB, Buffalo

Thats a great LB name - Red Murdock

Red Murdock is such a good football name. I would’ve drafted him for the name alone whether he could play football or not.

He’s a good player too

I liked him better than our LB.

Mr. Irrelevant’s granddaughter is a smokeshow! :hot_pepper:

MRob and MJD are not draft experts. Geez

I liked the peanut punch, but he was pretty plodding when I dug deep honestly

Actually I thought he and Rolder were real similar players just a different level of competition.

I thought Rolder was a much better athlete. Both have really good instincts though, which matters a lot at LB

Shit he has the tools but didn’t show up last season.

I’m here to confess:

That Dane Brugler was much closer to right in his consensus board than I was.

That no TEs were drafted by the Lions, much less one, or God forbid 2, @Davicus .

That I will never forgive Brad for ignoring the second coming of Tom Brady in the 2026 NFL draft. Never.

Hey we just signed Anthony Lucas as a UDFA! That’s something.

He should be an UDFA. Maybe it will focus him and force him to maximize whatever talent he has. It seems like he could do more with his raw talent.

And what the hell is going on with Heldman, who I relentlessly pimped. Come home to Detroit!!!

He’s signed elsewhere. New Orleans I believe. It’s all in the UDFA thread

.

Is it a bad thing to draft 2 players from good power 5 colleges?

I can’t really see that it is a bad thing to draft multiple players from programs that routinely churn out quality NFL players.

I’m more than happy to see players from Michigan, Alabama, UGA, etc. being drafted to the Lions.

.

And aren’t you just relieved he didn’t draft any “project players”?
