Don’t overthink it. Quality starting OTs are very hard to come by and often don’t become available in free agency or by trade, while edges do. This team relies on its OL as its engine. Look for pass rush help later. Went with Miller.

Me too. He’s definately made for us. A high effort, great character guy that lives and breathes football. 17 is so high to pick him. I’d really try to wrangle a third with Tre Downs here, then go Miller, if the staff was real concerned with Fano.
But, sometimes you just need talent, and I honestly can’t see Fano failing in this league.
I’m really intrigued if the “short-arms” issue will hold him back. I’m just not a fan of excluding players based on measurables, but yeah I get it. Will Campbell (also short arms) had a high pressure rate in some key games this year.
Its a gamble, but I’m gambling on the player. Fano for me…can’t overthink it.

That was my thought process. Wasn’t in love with any one option.
But at least McCoy isn’t here. Having to argue that we should draft a CB that hasn’t done football stuff in 14-15 months would have been tiring.
