He stays at RT because Fano is a guard. ![]()

If Fano did indeed fall to 17, I would imagine there would be some trade down opportunities. The Vikings would be salivating at the opportunity to get Fano. Steelers/Eagles would be ideal.
As Vikings GM I considered tackle round 1. Got the center they desperately need in round 2. But Darrisaw and O’Neill have both been battling injuries in recent years. And O’Neill is getting old and only 1 year left on his contract. They could use a young tackle of the future.
And Fano can play every position (aside from LT imo). So for a team like the Vikings he’s ideal under their current Olines makeup.
its a great article in as far as it goes, and i agree that it provides greater confidence in the RH model rather than the JJ model, all other things being equal. I’m sure we’d all love to see the Detroit Lion model. The first variable would be: Brad loves him? (yes or no). If the answers yes, the other team is going to win the trade no matter what model we use (except the Detroit Lion model where it might be even).
That one definitely requires a flow chart. And your first question is 100% the first question to ask. Otherwise we’re just wasting our time.
Like, Brad loves him? Yes → flow toward more shit. No → don’t waste your time with it.
Under that yes question on the flow chart is a picture of brad and dan looking at list and brad saying dan i am thinking of this.. dan says oh yeh that works.. next under that is a picture of brad and dan dancing and hugging… under that is a picture of dan holding his groin ish area after taking a elbow from brad.
All due respect to the people who did all of that work to analyze trades, but this is where they majorly failed. They failed to account for the fact that NFL teams functionally view 6th and 7th round picks the same as priority undrafted free agents. Those picks are often used by teams to secure UDFA equivalent players that they think won’t choose to sign with them. The 5th round isn’t terribly far off from that either. It’s not a coincidence that most of the variance comes with those later picks. Teams are willing to “overpay” with them because they largely just view them as glorified undrafted free agency. They have no problem giving them away at a loss if it means securing “their guy” early in the draft.
Anyway, the Jimmy Johnson chart is more than fine for fans to use for rough projections. If you’re in the ball park, then the trade projection is viable because most early draft trades fall within a ~50 point variance
Because of the speed of the draft slightly, we can do a 4th round if needed but i will need a majority answer of GM’s.

Please respond to this poll when you can.
Let’s go 7!
I’ll vote yes but I am travelling today-Saturday so I may be delayed in voting
I’ll send you a list of positions and have you make the pick if I can’t get to it within an hour
Not Extending the Mock Draft
Just not familiar with the players. Nothing but a guess.
Im down for however many rounds we do
You need information to make choices? That’s old school. I like it…

I am quite surprised Cisse is still out there.
