Yeah that would be along the lines of what I’d like to do.
As quite a few people have alluded to it would be nice to add a big NT as well to round out the group.

I like Kancey’s tape better then any DT not named Jalen Carter. Though if he show’s up at 270 to 275 to the combine, that would be a red flag. 280 to 290 is fine, but lower then that is a concern!

Yeah agree 100%. And his arm length will matter too. I don’t want the next Ed Oliver, great against the pass but a major liability against the run.

I still think Paschal kinda looks like a DT more than a D-end. He played a fair bit of DT in college and in his rookie season. Bulk him up to 290-295 and he might just be a stud DT. He weighed 278 at the combine last year.
Check out his body type, he’s a thick dude.

Let’s break it down. IF you take a DT in the first 3 rounds you are likely to get the 4th or 5th best in the draft although in 2020 there were like 8 taken in the first 3 rounds. The average for 2020-2022 is 19 for the entire draft and only 4 and 5 went in the 2021 and 2022 drafts. So, for me, if we draft a DT then it’s a run stopper first because guys like Paschal can be, should be, the 3rd down guy inside and also rotating outside on running downs. This of course assumes Carter is gone. I want Daron, if you want to argue please bring facts and not emotion.
Pascal was drafted as a 3 tech FT who also cn set edge an rush passer which 3 techs also do.
I don’t think are DL was as bad as fans make out based on last ten games.
I think we can go crazy an spend cap like its water or we can draft a 6’5 315 pound DT who plays 3 tech an NT when needed . An resign Comiski an Buggs

I think one would be released but these guys would be back ups on DE but mainly rush types an we would rotate are big guys.

I saw this mock the other day and despite being unlikely, it is my favorite thus far.
Only change I’d make is swapping out Dalton Kincaid for a Guard, even though I think Kincaid is going to be a pass catching stud.

As far as Benton I like him but if you draft him you still need another as a Pass rusher a Flame thrower as I believe Husker called it.

They drafted him to be a 3 tech DT look back an see what holes said he is a 3 tech DT he can rush as a DE when needed on the light pass rush front 4
Am signing Dalvin Tomlinson to a decent FA contract (3/26 million) and not using draft resources there this year, with the hopes Levi csn get healthy next year.
Who is holes ? and go watch his snaps most were at DE both his sacks were from the DE. Seems he is a DE that can move inside in sub packages. If he was gonna be a full time DT he would be adding weight. I think they like him as they used him as a big DE that can move around.

Yea and most importantly we gotta get him on the field a lot more next year. He missed all of training camp, the preseason and about half the regular season. He did show some real potential though when he got on the field.
