Seems like it would be exceedingly difficult to scheme around a Flores defense when your IOL is non-functional? .

If Lions win next week they are still sitting pretty good for a wild card also and very well could be first in the division with GB playing Philly.
The NFC west still has lots of division games so will be some some losses there.
Teams usually lose a game or two they should not. Lions did that today and now have less room for error.
While this week sucks, hopefully a couple of trades and this team starts to play the way I would hope they would.

Get Lif off the field… It didn’t work last year and they traded for Tim Patrick, it still doesn’t work this year. They used to spread the ball around, now it’s ARSB or Laporta, then check down to the RB. This offense is sooooo frustrating

Its not good news that the only thing to be happy about are bad opponents.
This team is stacked with talent and laid a turd after the bye. So the entire preparation for two weeks was crap, play calling was crap, too many penalties, guys played sloppy, drops, the whole thing.

No dominant teams like last year.
The Colts probably will end up with the best record in the league due to their schedule.
Another bad news on 1-2 vs the north as well.
Is the difference that Johnson created different plays for each back and Morton just calls the same plays for either back? Or is it the youth and fall off of the offensive line?

I think more the oline… Rb’s getting dropped at the line of scrimmage or in the backfield way more than the past. Not many holes for Gibbs and Monty

KC won super bowl couple years ago and lost to raiders. Sorry but that statement is so false it is funny.
And this Lions team is not elite they are just very good. So I agree with that statement they are not elite

probably won’t matter unless we tie. It doesn’t feel right though. Everyone thought Minny was a cupcake. We looked past them.
