The Lions still control their destiny for the #1 seed

Today was ugly but the Lions still have the #1 seed in their sights by merely winning out.

Not gonna lie, the Bears game concerns me because the Lions always struggle with those guys but the loss today isn’t damaging outside of narrowing the room for error so lets breath everybody.

Hopefully the Bears can do us a favor tomorrow before we take all our frustrations out on them next Sunday

I’m a lot less worried about this game than I was for most of this season.

A. We haven’t lost back to back games in forever
B. Now that the Bears fired their coach, they have absolutely nothing to play for. They’re not even trying to build momentum. They’re eliminated from the playoffs, and they should be getting ready for their winter vacations.

Win the next 2 on the road. Then lets see where things stand going into week 18.

If SF loses in Miami next week they likely have nothing to play for either when they play Lions.

Lions are gonna have to lean on their offense and running game in particular. Need to control the time of possession. Anything to keep the defense off the field.

They’ll play us the same way we played GB to end 2022. We have ramped up competition in the North. Teams will play us hard for no other reason than just to beat us.

well, they also need to audible out of obvious run crash defenses too. it was odd seeing us just run right into it.
