Btw, I picked us to win. The Eagles were one of my 11 wins, back in June.
But, a week ago I looked at the rosters and said, ‘who am I kidding, they’re going to crush us, again’.
I’m disappointed that we didn’t win (against all odds), but, not distraught.
They’ll just have to beat a different team they should lose to. It’s not at all unusual for the Lions.
Arizona should have killed us last year.

Just because someone says damn Goff made a shitty throw or Goff sucks. That is an “in moment” comment and it’s not a reflection on their full belief of the player. A player can suck for one play, one quarter and one game but still be a good player.

Aaron Rogers sucked and was out played by Jordan Love…… does that mean I think Aaron Rogers sucks as a QB? …. No! …. But that statement is a true statement none the less.

I think it may be more of a forecast regarding his style of play.

If they need Hurts to run for 60+ yards a game every week, in 50 games and playoffs that takes us 3 years…he is gonna see this probably more than once. .

By definition SOL cant end till they are not called lions anymore or they do something different… so until they win a super bowl… heck lets lower the bar to a playoff win… ehh lets lower it to make the playoffs… ehh lets lower it to a winning record… they will be the SOL

In his last 16 games since becoming the starter…
he has run 9.75 times per game… at 5.6 ypc career average… is 56 yards per game… just shy of a 1000 yard pace.

There was a line in some Sean Connery movie where he said, “I waz prepared to cut you shum shlack”. I pull that out about twice a year to annoy the wife. (That’s what she said - you can take the day off now Natty).
