Eh, it doesn’t matter what we think, and it’s hard to be too broken up about more football. Yeah it sucks for the players, but they get paid obscene amounts of money to play a game. A dangerous one for sure, but they know that going into it.
But I think you’re right that there can be too much of a good thing, and while I don’t think the NFL is there yet, they need to be mindful of it.
They are bringing back the 2nd bye week which the players have been begging for. And only 2 preseason games.
18 games makes the most sense to me.

I think the more of a good thing applies more to spreading the games throughout the week. Though they would generate significantly more revenue that way.
That seems to be the most in danger of happening right now for sure. These Christmas Day games aren’t gonna make it any better either.

I think we need to change the CFB and NFL seasons.
One plays from Feb to August
Other plays from Sept to January
Year round football instead of this UFL crap, I mean CFB is basically a professional league now.
I propose a 162 game regular season. Same as baseball. Off days are for sissies.
If you think Sewell can’t play 162 games…you’re crazy. 
Not a whole lot can be done about that now. That being said, odd game schedule sux.
