Wasn’t it just last season that Glasgow was penalized for a face mask when he was the one getting his helmet shoved off?
That was 2016 and it brought back a 14 yard run. Lions' Graham Glasgow called for penalty that was actually done to him - mlive.com

According to the ref explanation they called it on the lions because the center had his hand on the ball. By this picture you can clearly see our center also has his hand on the ball. They pick and choose when to allow ticky tack calls like these to occur. This game was a disgrace to the league and is becoming the norm, not an aberration
Oh fuk I forgot about that part of the rule. You are right, once we line up and “a snap is imminent,” it’s a penalty. And that was definitely how they viewed it on the field goal.
