Nos. 29, 61, 73, and 92–a lot lower than we’re accustomed, but a nice problem to have.
Lions also have Nos. 163, 207, and 247, but those will adjust somewhat lower after comp picks are awarded.

I expect a trade up.
No…I know Brad will trade up.
Odds are they will get comp. Pick in the 3rd if/when BJ goes to the commies.
I just look at this as they no longer have a 1st round pick.
For me typically the top 15 picks are the only true 1st round. After the “elite” type picks are off the board, it gets very opinionated on the value of a player (see Lions Draft picks 2023). So once you are outside of the top 15 you are now working to fill holes and get best graded players.
So this is just how it will be. Now the challenge is to get good players and develop players. Player development is super important even at the NFL level. I really appreciate this staff and how they operate.
Is Johnson a minority? As far as I know only Glenn qualifies for the comp picks.
Oh true. I thought it was ALL Coordinators lost not just minorities lost.
But you gain comp for hiring.
Damn. Oh well
Offer the vikings our third for their first - straight up!
Trade down wouldn’t surprise me
Amon Ra, LaPorta, Branch, and Iffy were all taken outside of the first round.
Yep and this is my point
Being out of the top 15 just means you do not get to pick from the guys with elite measurables. But that does not mean clearly that we can not get great players. My point really is this is not a big deal which clearly your examples are saying the same thing.
