Canada loses 2-1 to Swiss but still qualify as the 2nd place team. Probably will have to face Korea in LA Sunday.
Not having Davies, Kone, and Bombito started to show but all but Kone could play the next game. Unless you are a top ranking team you cant afford injuries

Turns out that Korea who is higher ranked, loses to South Africa. Canada plays South Africa Sunday. Problem is that the team only gets 3 days off so injured players might not be ready.
USA and Mexico wins their groups so play a lower seed.
3rd place teams are a crapshoot right now so anything can happen.

Usa doesnt need to play at all tonight. They are locked in. And turkey is already eliminated. So a completely pointless game. Thank goodness its pointless because its on a 10pm
Canada is crying because they wont be playing in Canada. But FIFA tried to give them an easy draw. And if they won their group. They would play back to back games in Vancouver. Like Mexico can in Mexico City and USA west coast 3 games in a row.

Canada surely missed an opportunity to play at home. However, if Alphonso Davies can play on Sunday, that is a bigger boost than home field. He is one of the top 5 players in the world at his position and one of the top North American players overall. If he can’t go, it will be tough.
