This team is completely gritless. There’s no toughness. Outside of a very few it’s looking like a lot of the team is mailing it in this year. Very disappointing. Can’t wait for Shep to talk again about being a head coach some day. Delusional.

Dan looked shell shocked, nearing defeated, in the beginning of the 4th quarter. I believe it began in the 1st half with the missteps on offense. He knows that with this defense there is no room for error on offense. Actually, against a Panthers team there is room for error, just not repeated errors.

This team truly has lost its identity.
And honestly, I’m more sad about it than anything, because the window seems closed.
Our stars got their big contracts, and Brad’s ego go in the way of supporting them.

it was closed after our 15-2 season and lost playoff game with that offseason. the problems were glaring and we hired chuckle and fuckle as oc and dc, not to mention players lost and added.

A sophomore DC screaming at players to get hype, is not grit. Grit starts with intellect, years of experience, and then working about 75-90 hours a week to put your players in a position to succeed. I feel like we we missed a couple of steps on the way to grit

I thought Holmes had humbled himself but it’s hard for an arrogant man to humbled. The Lions need to clean house and jump start on a rebuild. I’d look to move Goff and cut ties with Holmes and Campbell.
It really may be true that our window has been closed since Ben left. Not just because he left, but it does seem that he stuck it out one more year to make the run that wasnt.
