Thoughts on the Lions’ Future - Are We Finally Turning the Corner?

Hey everyone,

As a lifelong Lions fan, I can’t help but feel a different energy around this team lately. We have seen flashes of potential in the past but something about this season feels more promising. The coaching seems more solid, the roster has depth and we are starting to build a winning culture.

My question for all of you is: Do you think we’re finally turning the corner: ?? Can this be the start of a new era for the Lions where we consistently contend: ?? Or are there still major gaps we need to fill before we can be considered a true playoff contender: ??

Personally, I am cautiously optimistic but I have been burned by this team before !! What’s your take on the team’s future and what do you think are the biggest factors that will determine our success going forward: ??

Lately for me means January 2021 when Kneecaps became an entree. That’s when the energy changed. The results on the field took a while longer and caused even delusional me to waver. But the right energy was always on display.

There has been a seismic shift in the Lions fortunes. Don’t get hung up on an anomalous loss; even Super Bowl winners will have them. We have turned a corner and it’s now in the review mirror. As long as Dan and Brad are here The Bad Old Days are gone.

We turned the corner two years ago. Now we just have to get used to living on the new street/neighborhood.

If we win the next 2 games we are officially the best team in the NFL (no matter what KC is doing).
