Ticket prices?

I haven’t bought game tickets in many years. Always been lucky to get them for free! This was thru my job, but I’m retired now, and naturally I live in South Florida where I fit right in with all of the other retirees. I really want to see our Lions play, and I’m thinking the Texans game in Houston is an easy flight so why not?

I get on vividseats.com and was shocked to see tickets for that game start at $150 and they are bad seats!!! Okay seats start at almost $300.

Is this correct? Sure, I must buy airfare, hotel room for a few nights, dinners and bourbon! But come on!

Any ideas to ease the pain?

Never use vivid seats use tick pick

Wait until you get to the taxes and fees :smirk:

Thats better than trying to see them in Detroit.

We were trying to get a group package of 10 tickets for the Buffalo game. End zone seats were over $200. Last year I went to the Minnesota Vikings game, upper bowl, sat on the sideline, and we got them for about $110 each. While I could afford to go, I’m not going to pay Upwards of $1000 for three people to go to watch a football game that I can watch on TV for free. Just won’t do it. So my days of watching the Lions in person are either coming to an end or are delayed until they suck again.

I also checked for tickets in Indianapolis. Don’t remember which site I used but the cheapest decent tickets I could find were over $300.

At about 18 minutes of live action per game it cost about $16 per minute. That’s more expensive than a lap dance. So Unless Alim shakes his boobs in front of me,I’m out.
