He has a 70mph version to go with the 90mph version.
Just a matter of throwing strikes…. But that guy can mess with hitters when he’s on. No one throws that pitch anymore. And I love a nasty knuckleball. Sure hope he gets to the Majors at some point
Jeff Weaver is like the last pitcher I remember throwing a knuckleballer
Dickey won a Cy Young even. The pitch is nasty in this velo era if located
Tim Wakefield

Dickey?? Did they call Weaver “Dickey”??

Did Weaver throw one? I apologize I don’t remember his.
Big difference between throwing 5 a game and legit 90 percent guy.
Those are what I miss the most.
The batter knows it’s coming and still swinging wildly.

He most certainly did…he had a weird form and every thing. Doyle Alexander was like that too from what I remember
Tim Wakefield
Tim had a slower one. But he was nasty at times too.
Bring back the knuckler please and thank you
Man I feel for his kids you know about him and his wife passing away from cancer like a 3 months apart. F uck cancer
you CAN bring up their record as of late. But thats against the Athletic, orials and royals and angles. Like the 4 worst teams in baseball.
.
.
Tigers are actually 32-20 since June 1st.
It goes back a lot longer than recent series against weaker teams, and the Tigers swept the Rays, White Sox, and Yankees in that time… plus won series against the Twins, Mariners, and Cubs.
.
But… craft that spreadsheet however you will.

THANK YOU! My God I am not claiming that this team will make the playoffs…and lord knows I’d be disappointed if they didn’t, but man the narratives that are being driven out are mind boggling… ![]()
