Some good words on a few of the Tiger prospects, some you may know, Jung, Clark, Madden and some you may not Melton, Briceno.

Jung blasts two homers as Tigers farm kids roll

Portion on Jung:
Trammell has been among a bigger and broader Tigers coaching crew toiling to turn Jung into a two-way asset. The apprenticeship is paying off.

“He’s all in,” Trammell said of Jung. “He’s all business. He wants to be a big-leaguer. He’s a good baseball player, and credit him for switching from second base to make us a better club.

“We’ll see how that works out, but all the credit goes to JJ to be willing to go over there.”

Portion of the Briceno comments (may have been a Miggy comp):
Couple his age (19) with his left-handed bat and the Tigers knew even last year they might have something extraordinary evolving in Josue (pronounced: Ho-SWAY) Briceno.

It’s a young Venezuelan’s bat that had Trammell buzzing Saturday, especially after he had seen Briceno rip a 111.7-mph double to right field.
