Tigers go into the weekend
3.5 back in the division
1 back in the WC race
need at least 2 of 3 going into the home stand against Clev and Sox
Looking forward to see how Jobe fares. 5 innings of work is probably the limit for his first game depending on the pitch count.
Rooting interests
So as the Tigers get ready to embark on a 3 gamer with the Giants we also have the following series happening with the other teams fighting for a Wildcard spot.
Some of these have conflicting interests, so to each their own on how they want to root, but for me and today’s games I am wish-casting the following…
CHW over CLE
MIL over MIN
BAL over TEX
If all those occur the Tigers will be in a 3 way tie for the final WC slot with TEX and BAL.
Of course CHW winning would be against our interests to win the Division, but I’ll worry about that later. Heck, my interests may change by tomorrow’s games, but for today, I’ll stick with getting into that final WC spot.
Cleveland losing now is a good idea because their schedule after they finish w us is ridiculously easy until the end of the month. San Diego San Francisco Colorado Angels and Kansas City
10:15 pm start on a Friday night is actually bull sh*t, because I’m selfish & I want to watch the Tigers right now.
That being said, I despise when sports/cable networks cater to West Coast cucks
Take a couple gummies, see you in 2 hours bud.
Stop being selfish ![]()
Have you tried Velo’s though?
Tell me more?
I say we bomb the San Andreas fault and watch western California slide into the ocean,
Oh I tried it.
45 more minutes– – I’m sleepy. I hate the west coast.
10:15 is a freaking ridiculous start time, even by west coast standards. Does it take them 2 hours to get home from work riding their one-wheeled electric skateboard or something. 6:00pm or even 5:30pm west coast time should be the latest a game starts. Get your scooter powered up, get home, order your doordash sushi, and get the game started.

good time to steal
Looks like it could be a long night for the bullpen if Montero doesn’t settle down.
Tigers may need to put up double digit runs to win this. Montero does not appear to have “it” today.
Our lineup is great right now, but I wish we had a Jung Hoo Lee or Luis Arraez type who you could absolutely count on to put the ball in play in situations like that.
