Olson has surgery Feb 2ndā¦Valdez signing announced Feb 4th.
Tigers were rumored to be in on FA SP before the 2nd.
I wonder if Olsonās surgery was the catalyst to push the chips in for Framber?

If surgery was set for the 2nd then they have known for a while what was coming.
What I really like is they have several SP in reserve now including Melton who should be a good one.
To add to that point, minors arenāt that strong in SP depth beyond Montero/Melton. Rest are all big question marks or too young(question marks).

His glove is great but ML pitchers have figured him out. I expect him to level off at about his career stat line
He will avg a KO per game again this year but show spurts of decent hitting

I am anxious to see what Clark can do. I want to see his great contact ability carry up to the Majors
I hope that Max can be a real threat on the basepaths, which is something Iād argue we donāt really have at the moment, outside of maybe McKinstry.
