That was also a terrible draft, good lord. That top 10 has two MLB players in it and one of them is Torkelson.

Correct.

Something pointed out me in the past that while Tork isnā€™t great, to put it mildly, the options in that draft, at the top, werenā€™t that good. As you correctly note.

Nevermind. Not sure what Iā€™m on. Garrett Crochet was the 11th pick and PCA was the 19th pick in that first round.

Other than that there was really nothing in that draft.

From what I can tell it is not unexpected by anybody on this here Tigers forum. Proof that Tiger fans are the smartest. (Except the ones who wanted to cut Riley Greene 2 weeks into the season)

If not mistaken Montero got through the first with 12pitches.

Now at 39pitches in the 2nd with bases loaded and no outs, trailing 1-0
