If we lose and the Guardians win, our lead will have shrunk to 11.5 games. For context: NY and Toronto are tied in the AL East and have an 11 games lead over last place Baltimore.
They need some of their normal starters to get healthy. But good teams lose to bad teams—especially on the road.
Houston lost to the Rockies today, so the Tigers lead in the AL will remain at 1.5 games with a loss tonight.
Houston now heads to play 3 against the Dodgers.
