Cubs, who have a stacked lineup and bench, go into a mild slump but are still a wildcard team….in 24 hours promote their 2 best hitting prospects who were DESTROYING AAA, with no real At Bats for them available but to pinch hit and maybe platoon a little (and pressure the guys ahead of them a bit?)

They told Clark that they wanted him to work on his power and defense. I do not think its a coincidence that his average started to fall off very quickly after they told him that.
Just let the guys be who they are for christ sakes. Clarks value is going to come in the way of speed and getting on base. Trying to squeeze a couple mph out of his exit velocity at the expense of his average is stupid. IMO
They messed with Greene the same way. Made it all about the homeruns and we see how that worked out. Luckily he went back to who he is.

So double header tomorrow. That’s a lot of suffering for us Tiger fans. I normally like to spread my misery over 2 days. Back to back on the same day may be a little too much to take.
