Tigers vs Padres: Sept 2-5

Hate these west coast trips a couple of these starting at times where I may be able to watch a few innings before falling asleep in my chair…
Appears Madden will get the start based on Hurter pitching yesterday.

SCOUTING REPORT

:arrow_forward: TBA, Padres: San Diego has yet to announce a starting pitcher for Monday evening.

:arrow_forward: TBA, Tigers: Hinch said either Ty Madden or Brant Hurter will get the start to begin the series against San Diego, whichever one doesn’t pitch against the Red Sox on Sunday. Whether it’s Madden or Hurter, Monday’s game will “most likely” be a traditional start.

Padres are hitting well, but beyond King, their starters are shaky right now.

Their bullpen though is fricking nails. Adam Scott and Suarez 7-8-9 is a bad day.

Get ahead early.

It’s gonna be hard, but we need to take 2 out of 3 again.

We have 2 easier series coming up after this one, where we can really make up some ground.

Just realized that this is a three game series over four days, not sure I remember a series in September that takes an off day in the middle of it.
Monday thru Thursday with Tuesday being an off day.

Huge series need to at least take two. KC is playing bad might catch them

Wtf? Why wouldn’t they just give us Monday off for travel?

Pretty weird

The Tigers are kicking up their heels…

We get the first 2 guys on, and come away empty.

Frustrating
