Tigers vs Padres: Sept 2-5

Oh no I didn’t take it personal at all. I generally have a pretty thick skin anyway. And the older I get the thicker it gets. It balances well with the thinning and shortening of my peepee.

Boy, if any current tiger deserves to be punched in the face more… Maybe Baez but that might be it. Tork…honorable mention.

I had to change my response as I read thinning and shortening and my mind went too, he’s losing hair like I have for been for 25years, who am I kidding for 30 years.

Then I caught the end of the sentence and deleted “know the feeling” response.

Don’t tell me it’s getting thicker and longer. :joy:

this is where I left off watching (I always tape first to get through the commercials). Before going to bed I fast forwarded to where the game was – 5-5. Then went to bed. Glad I forwarded to 5-5. At least it wasn’t a shock to see them lose by a run. Still, that one hurt bad.
Montero had looked good.
And, sorry - but I can’t resist - Flaherty would have looked better.

Another 9th inning comeback.

Apparently, our guys aren’t ready to lay down and die quite yet.

Wow, what a finish, some nice AB’s before the grand slam
Mize did a nice job of not giving up more than 3 was a little concerned with the way he started.

And, btw…from this morning’s Freep this little nugget…

The Tigers have a 39-22 record in games played by Meadows.

I love Dickerson’s call.

This is the type of win that can spark a little run. We need to sweep these next 2 series, against crappy teams.

The other fun thing about that GS was the players involved; all the young guys with strong AB’s
