Tigers vs Pirates: Aug 17-19

Not getting any runs across the plate after Skeens walked the first two hitters is probably gonna be a reason for a big ol’ “whelp”

And then the Pirates score when we walk the leadoff batter.

Hence all the whelpin :clinking_beer_mugs:

Man Skenes has big control issues. Stand up there and let him walk you for christ sakes.

Who’d be surprised if Skeens breaks his own single game walk record today, yet still gives up zero runs in a mind numbing display of Tigers offensive pickled possum tits?

Dingler’s def got a case of the PPT’s…he cant even get challenges right at the moment

Dingler is either hurt or tired.

Something is seriously wrong with Skenes.

Does Jobe have a pitch count or inning limit? Good outing through 5. Valdez did the same and then got hit in the 6th.

I think he just has a dead arm. He is still very young and hasn’t thrown a ton of pitches late in the season like this. If Pittsburgh was smart they would give him a couple of weeks off. Arm fatigue can often lead to more serious problems.

Very good outing for Jobe. His pitch count was only in the mid 80’s. I feel like he should have been allowed to finish the inning.

If he gave up another hit or walk, then pull him.

Finnegan is such major ass cheeks…he’s damn near unplayable. There’s gotta be someone else they can bring up who cant be worse and deserves a chance.

 :water_pistol:

He has had a few rough outings but he will correct them and be back to his normal self - Aj hinch or something
