I’m really starting to get depressed watching this team. I’m beginning to think the first 80 games were a mirage. Right now a one run deficit seems like 3. A 3 run deficit seems impossible to overcome.

Game is already over down 2-0 against one of the worst teams in baseball.
Question on this team: at this point, other teams would be looking at having a players only “come to Jesus” meeting. I’m not saying they haven’t, but who are the leaders on this team that would speak out? I’m guessing Skubal and maybe Baez. Other than that, who else on this team are true leaders that would look to chew some ass on players?
Remember that all this offense needs is a platoon bat.
Maybe .583 OPS Ke’Bryan Hayes will suffice?
Who, of course, is tearing us up so far this series.
