I am starting to think that Rogers is just Mize’s personal catcher.
Serious question about Rogers… What happened? In 2023 he was one of the best power hitting catchers in baseball. 21 homers in only 330 at bats. I really didn’t watch the Tigers then cause they sucked in 2023. But he had a solid season. Can’t hit a lick since.
Pitchers just figured him out? He will never be a good average hitter but he did have power in the past
Hasn’t been able to get the stache back on track. Analytics figured him out is my guess. Or the Tigers need a better batting coach, seems lots of players on the Tigers struggle to be consistent.

Javy should be the starting SS. McKinstry should be the primary guy when Javy needs a day off. Sweeney should be in the minors if they really believe he’s a prospect. If they don’t, he could be a MLB bench warmer.

Our family is devastated over it. He was a really good man, especially to me. I can’t even begin to tell you how much he helped me after I got sick.
