Scouting report

:arrow_forward: Lorenzen, Rangers: Quick trivia question: Who was the Tigers’ lone All-Star representative last season? Yep. Lorenzen rejuvenated his career in a few short months with the Tigers and then was traded to the Phillies where he pitched a no-hitter. He went unsigned as a free agent until March 22 when the Rangers got him for one year and $4.5 million.

:arrow_forward: Olson, Tigers: He didn’t have the command of any of his pitches in his last outing in Pittsburgh. He fell behind too many hitters and threw too many predictable fastballs in disadvantage counts. The result, he was tagged for six runs and nine hits with three walks and a hit-batsman in 4.1 innings. You have to go back to Aug. 22 of last season, seven starts ago, to find his last clunker.

Tiger’s over the wings. Bsd dumb asseses

Tigers score 46% of their runs this season 8thinning or later

Welp, the Wings got at least the 1 point they need to stay alive. Let’s see if they can get 2 with an OT win.

Such an entertaining game.

I honestly forgot how much fun it can be to watch the wings in a meaningful game.

What a game for Raymond!

Would’ve been fun watch, but got to see few hits from a baseball bat and zero runs.

Gets Raymond over 30 goals as well.

Clutch work…for a team with no superstar forward, they need different guys to sack up and win a game for them…so far so good.

Its a start sill need Washington to lose in regulation and wings taken a point.

That home loss to the Caps 2-1 last week…

That game and the shitburg game put them in small hole.

That 42 for Detroit couldn’t hit for crap.

Second or third time this season, that I remember anyways, the Tigers offense does beyond stupid shit. Things they could control anyways. Lorenzen somewhat wild, walks two straight batters on 8 or 9 pitches iirc, Vierling comes up and swings at first f#$king pitch…double play.

Seriously, you have to take a pitch or two there. Vierling has been in the league for a second or two, no excuse for that shit.

3double plays killed three opportunities to score…

An awesome win and confidence booster. Now go take care of business today in Montreal and let the chips fall where they may.

Wth lineup is that?

Bunch of dudes that shouldn’t be in the show

The Tigers hitters just look completely lost at the plate.

They cant even put a ball in play against a very mediocre pitcher.

It’s embarrassing

Lead off triple by Carpenter and…crickets

Edit: well except for that unbelievable walk by Baez
