I dont see him returning this year. Why rush it when the tigers could be out of the playoff race by July. Luckily the ALC is pretty bad, so there is still that hope. With his contract up why f that elbow any more

Let’s not act like the offense isn’t good enough to keep this team afloat through July. They’re better than they were last year in that area.

yea I think @HSVLion nailed it. Gotta try to stay in the Central race and then Skubal returns. Like you said the division sucks. There is still some hope he returns. If they are out of the race, then yea he ain’t coming back.
Last update i saw Jobe is sure some bullpen action Late August. So minor impact

Bullpen will need help as we all know, look at how Melton impacted the pen.
Plus who knows what other injuries we have by then. Biggest question is what will Jobe look like when he comes back as he is still a rookie.

I guess we will see. The last report that I posted said he was already throwing off the mound and was doing real well in his recovery. They said he would be back after the all-star break. I also got the impression that the only reason he was slated for the bullpen was because we were 5 or 6 deep with our rotation. Which probably won’t be the case now.
It seems silly for either of us to speculate but it does seem like you are trying to spin this whole injured pitchers thing into the worst possible scenario. If I read that wrong I apologize.
Oh for sure my Jays are just as ■■■■■■. Half the team is on the injured list. Sucks
