Olson, Tigers: The Tigers haven’t made the official announcement yet, but the expectation is that Olson will be activated off the injured list (shoulder) before the game and made his first start since July 20. The Tigers were 4-2 in his six starts before the injury and he posted a 2.25 ERA with 31 strikeouts and 8 walks while holding hitters to a .202 average and .316 slug. He’s only thrown up to three innings and 45 pitches in his rehab starts, so it’s likely to be a short outing.
Lugo, Royals: He’s probably Tarik Skubal’s closest competitor for the Cy Young Award and he’s already beaten the Tigers twice, allowing one run in just seven hits in 15 innings with 12 strikeouts. He’s been on a heater, too. In his last three starts, against the Astros, Guardians and Yankees, he’s allowed two runs in 21 innings with 23 strikeouts and 2 walks.
Dude, I so do not wear suspenders, I mean, really get a grip…and while I’ve lost a shitload of weight, I aint that skinny. Get back to the drawing board and do better. need to add beer as well.
Olson looking good thru 2.
Curious what his pitch limit is tonight, believe he went around 45-50 in his last Toledo start. Think he is at 32 or 33 after 2 innings
