Scouting report
Olson, Tigers: He’s coming off a quality start against the White Sox (two runs in six innings with five strikeouts). Throwing both his sinker and changeup to both sides of the plate has been effective for him in his first two starts. He got nine whiffs on 20 swings with his changeup and slider against the White Sox. And he will be the first to admit that his command hasn’t been nearly as precise as he wants it to be, evidenced by five walks in 10.2 innings.
Festa, Twins: With Pablo Lopez injured, the Twins have had to scramble their rotation. They called up right-hander Festa Thursday. This will be his first start this season.
Like their chances with MIN still missing Royce Lewis and generally their hitting has sucked hard so far. We should be getting Festa, Paddack and Woods-Richardson, who have been gas cans thus far
