Just got back from the game. Not much to report besides what you already know from either watching or listening to the game. They didn’t inform anybody in the stadium why there was such a long pause to play with dirt in front of second base. Fortunately, about 20,000 people had phones with which to peruse social media during the delay, to find out what the Hell was up.
Also, the Yankee fans in our section didn’t appreciate the loud and consistent heckling of their guy “Jizz Chasm” every time he stepped up to the plate. (and yes, I was that heckler).
Also, they used “Fat Bottomed Girls” for Drew Anderson’s bullpen music, and not Drew Sommers. I considered that a missed opportunity.

Trading deadline in the American League is gonna be very interesting. Cause so many teams are hovering around .500 or just below right now and yet only a couple games out of a wildcard spot. About 7 or 8 teams all with chances at the moment. Plus the Central and West Divisions are wide open for anyone to take.

About fricking time but they definitely sent the wrong player back to AAA. Or, perhaps they will just DFA Jones come Sunday, free up a roster spot and a 40man spot.
