Disks and Benetti had me laughing at first. Then they totally overplayed the part for the next hour and it became stupid.

He annoys the hell out of me. Always has. 99% of the stuff he thinks is funny, just isn’t. I also prefer my announcers to talk baseball and he seems to think that he’s at a backyard BBQ shooting the shit with some friends.

Meh, I’m biased as I have met Matt Shepard a few times, enjoyed beers with him. Great guy and I enjoyed him as an announcer.
Benetti is just annoying at times, I mean severely annoying. Something I never thought about Shepard.

Shepard was just so stale to me. At least Benetti keeps it interesting by talking about all kinds of different stuff.
I personally like not hearing the same exact thing 162 times a year.
Yea, I prefer baseball to a comedy routine when I watch and listen to baseball broadcasts. Benetti, too often goes into a comedy routine and while I don’t disagree with you on Shepard, prefer that to the comedy routine.
And tbf to benetti, i have come to enjoy much of his broadcasts as the guy is smart and really knows baseball. He could be amazing if he would just leave the comedy at the door during the game.
They can keep Malgeri’s fiance on camera longer….
