As thin as our minor league system is in quality pitching I highly doubt that we would trade Melton. If anything we should be looking to add good young pitchers.

Anderson isn’t anything special
Red Sox probably wouldn’t want any of the guys in the first deal. Not in a trade for Duran.
Anderson may be more valuable to the Tigers than elsewhere, true, due to his contact ability.
Projection-wise there may be a little more there, and with Melton, projection-wise he could be Schwellembach-like, which is power arm solid #2. Booting Mize down to 3 (more his ability) with anyone, be it a healthy Jobe or Melton or whoever long term is a good thing.
Really, a 2027 rotation of Skub -Jobe-Melton-Olson-? at 5 is a pretty healthy, balanced and sustainable staff stuff and $ wise.
