The Lions need to put this team away early in this game
no matter who’s playing QB.
35 -0 first qtr and let HH play the long game of clean up!!
Don’t be shocked or upset if that does not happen. Tennessee’s defense is still very good. Good line, good pass rush, good corners. I expect this game to be very much like the Buffalo game. Surprisingly close for too long. However, Tennessee’s offense is too much ass to hang with the Lions long. I think the score will be close after Q1, Lions maybe up a score in Q2, then the game will get blown open in Q3 and on cruise control Q4.
Yeah I think this could be a bit of any ugly win. Classic letdown spot, no Jamo (probably), they have an elite run-stopping interior duo so running won’t be easy. All that matters is winning.
I don’t want the Lions overlooking any opponent. I believe that Dan Campbell won’t. With how our division is looking we can’t afford to take any game for granted.
I, like every other Lions fan, would enjoy a nice comfortable win. StormGuyNovi’s scenario would be nice, but I can see this game being a slog for us offensively. As mentioned, their D is very good and being a realist, the incredible completion percentage that Jared has had the last 3 weeks should regress to the mean at some point. I am 100% confident in Ben, Jared, and the offense as a whole. With that said, we aren’t likely to score 30+ each week.
This game, between two very tough division games on the road, is not as easy as it looks. I’m not good with score predictions and all that, but I think this will be close and the game still up for grabs going into the 4th quarter. Nothing against Leaf or A Rob, but the speed/talent that Jamo has can’t be replicated with either of those guys. Ben talked about how the respect for Jamo’s speed has dictated coverages (i.e. when they play 2 high, it opens up the running game and when they come down or 1:1 coverage, we have our shots with Jamo). Assuming Jamo is out, that’s going to impact us more than some believe in how the D schemes against our other playmakers. I hope I’m wrong and we can have a cruise control 4th quarter! If we do, feel free to come back and say hey NEWB, easy on the predictions.
The n00b’s first…
I walked right into that one - well played Doc!!
…just 9/10 weeks.
true
correct
Yikes - go compare Offenses and production
If we lose, we came in expecting to win not expecting a dog fight…
We “should” win by double digits barring any major injuries
The Lions are at home and will feed off the crowd. I expect them to win by at least 10 points and move to 6-1.

Kind of sad we couldn’t trade for Myles Garrett quickly enough for him to swing his helmet at Mason.
