I like that we’re being thorough but it’s starting to come off as we do not have a direction and are being indecisive.

Who would Todd Bowles be tied to that has interviewed for GM?
Mike Disner … who is also on our advisory committee.
Good organizations interview candidates they aren’t interested in just to pick their brains about their organization and roster.
Thisi is a good thing they are interviewing as many people as they are in my opinion.
I also don’t believe this has anything to do with whether they have made their choice or not
Todd bowles is a good coach. He’s experienced and has had a ton of coordinator success. Sure he flamed out with the jets… but who wouldn’t in that dumpster fire? And he’s known for turning around defenses quick.

He’s in the distant second tier for me with Saleh, but he might not be bad.
100 percent. We need to make a move. We are gonna lose out on someone if we dont.
I suspect there’s a few playing this week that we want to interview for GM and HC.
My guess is that we will know more come next week.
But it just feels like we’re all over the place.
I don’t count out guys that got a hc opportunity that didn’t go well if they were in bad situations, either from franchise issues or roster problems. Tons of retreads have done great. Marv levy, bill belichek, jack del rio, john fox, etc
If there was an Ireland/Bowles reunion in Detroit, I think that would allow me to tune this team out completely.
Bowles is the guy I want. If he has good relationship with David maybe he will join the Lion’s
I think in most situations all sort of know what dominos need to fall and when. There is a ton that goes on behind the scenes. Usually if you want your guy and they want to be there, it happens. If one side is more interested in another person or opportunity, it gets played out. I wouldn’t worry about timing at this point.
Guys like Fitz and Lewis will be available, so you can ice them for a bit while guys like Saleh, Bienemy and Bowles work through the many suitors at the door.
All I can do is shake my head.
I have zero interest in Bowles being our HC. Not even sure why he’s being considered. Nothing on his resume says he can come in here and turn things around.
He had one good year with the Jets. His first year. Then they went into a serious regression.
His defense is pretty good this year.
