Huh. I thought the owners would keep coming up with new restrictions to make it impossible for Brady to crack their circle. Having one of “the help” move up to their table didn’t seem like something they would allow. Brady won’t be the last former player with the money and ambition to make this move.
Now I want Brady to come out of retirement next year so we can all watch the chaos as the NFL tries to square that circle.
Good for the restrictions. Don’t get me wrong I have nothing against Brady. But I have zero issue with restrictions that might force him out of the booth so Greg Olsen can get his job back.

Seriously he spends all week talking to players and coaches from other teams about strategy to do his job calling the game on Sunday… Meanwhile he owns part of another team? That’s ridiculous.
Maybe they should let Jerry Jones call games!! Smh

I get them not wanting him to have access to their team, but not being able to criticize other clubs is dumb. It’s his job to comment on what he’s seeing. Is that called the fragile ego clause?

That is a club restriction not a broadcaster. If Campbell criticized the refs, he would get a fine.

So is not being able to criticize the officials. If it’s a dumb call, it’s a dumb call. How many times have we heard Troy Aikman say “I didn’t really see it there, Joe”? Being part owner of a team and criticizing officials at your day job of broadcasting are two entirely different things.

Brady is going to come out of retirement, exactly the same way Michael Jordan did when he was part owner of the wizards
And criticizing other clubs? It’s overly restrictive.
