Tom Brady critical of Lions coach Dan Campbell's decisions in NFC championship

Shut the fuk up Tom!

I have to say I agree out that run at the end. That just never made any sense whatsoever. You throw on 3rd down and if you decide to go for it, you run in 4th. Those timeouts were the only chance we had at a comeback. If we scored, we had three timeouts and about a minute left. If we kick it deep and stop San Fran, that leaves us with about 35-40 seconds from around the 20-25, needing about to 40-45 yards to get into FG range.

Brady said. “Unless you saw some incredible look to walk the ball in,

Dan said he absolutely thought Monty would walk into the endzone, but a block was missed and he was forced to take the timeout. (before Brady’s comment, by the way)

Every play that gets blew up is a bad call after the fact.

That is correct.

Or how about you kick the fg with about 2 minutes left and then try to stop them and go for the td. They wasted too much time scoring the td first.

Tom is just trying to come out with a hot take before he gets into the booth. Probably just typed it into ChatGPT and read it verbatim. He’s about as controversial as a slice of white bread soaking in a bowl of warm milk. I’m just not sure he has the charisma to hold interest of the viewers for more than a season or two. There’s just not a lot of dynamic oomph at work there. He’ll have the same effect as taking a Benadryl at kickoff.

Yeah we don’t wanna hear the truth. Lol

We’re all able to click on the same videos, yet we don’t. I’ve given up on this topic. Good luck if you want to get folks to look at the broader picture on that play.

Literally exactly what Dan said. Maybe Brady should spend more time listening and less time running his mouth.

Not worth the risk though. The timeouts were too crucial. It was a bad decision, but thats okay, everybody ■■■■■ up. 4th down was the only down to call a running play. I know the element of surprise may be gone, but thats okay too.

Its probably the only decision made that I vehemently disagreed with. I completely understood so mindset going for both 4th downs.

The entire team absolutely shit the bed, those playcalls were actually the least of it as had they just played average football they’re running the clock out with a 10 point lead instead.

I will give coaching shit for not getting the guys back in the game, focused, etc. But they are also professionals and should catch shit that hits them in the hands, whether a WR or CB, or run the right way and hang onto the ball.

We had 7 blockers on 6 defenders for an off-tackle walk-in.

Jamo missed the block. He cheated to the player in coverage and didn’t pick up the inside defender. If he picks up the inside run defender, D-Mo runs over the deep defender.

I don’t love the play, but we also don’t know what Goff could have checked into if their pre-snap look wasn’t so ideal for a run.

Monty is a former HS QB he should have pulled up, given up ground and drilled a bullet of a pass into the ground at St. feet.

That should have been a coaching point if you’re running there.

Agree with Tom, been saying that was a flat out error there.

The other decisions were fine

Thanks lead foot Frisker for plodding to the 1

In Dallas game 4 th down we know similar error is going to happen in future ,remember both close games we lost
