Tony Dorsett's 99 yard TD run

Did you know that Tony wasn’t even supposed to get the ball on that play and because the FB got confused on the playcall, he ran off the field before the snap leaving the Cowboys with only 10 men on the field.

That’s pretty wild. 10 guys on the field. Although #37 on the Giants, what a pathetic excuse for a tackle attempt.

We tried to recreate that play but fell short. We only got the 10 men on the field part right.

Patricia loved to play defense with 10 on the field.

Man that run looked slow…? Is it just me??

I was going to post the exact same thing. it looks like a modern defense could’ve run around in front of him to stop him.

The film is slowed down. Here is one closer to regular speed.

I just enjoy seeing an NFL historic highlight where the Lions aren’t the opponent.

Just watch playoff highlights, you’ll be really safe.

I honestly say I watched that live on MNF

Howard could be a pompous ass but I still liked him

Speaking of long runs in nfl history … this was entertaining.

Thanks! Much better

One of the first games I ever remember. And I don’t remember anything but that run. I was a huge Cowboys fan as a child. America’s Team etc. The reason I am a Lions fan is because of local sports reporting being the only thing I could regularly get my hands on to read. Magazines occassionally. Loved shows like Inside the NFL when I could watch it. Always watched the pregame because I got a lot of my news that way. The paper would cover some national stuff of course.

Barry was the reason I switched to the Lions.
