Tony Romo has already been replaced per CBS.
So he wasn’t just drinking and driving. He was attempting an extraordinarily stupid driving maneuver.

Assuming that he was in fact drinking, which is a fair assumption of course, he clearly made a mistake.
That being said, I found his personality far more endearing than I expected. Didn’t pull any do you know how I am crap. He reminded me of a puppy tbh.

Yeah, he seems like a nice guy. If he does that maneuver sober he falls down the list though lol. I’ll assume his judgement was impaired. The guy is what, in his mid 40s? Driving with open intox and has shooters in his backpack? Either there is one hell of an interesting story here, or this is a man who has a problem.

Meh, his best bet is to go the rehab route. Might really belong there anyway.
Facts: he lied right out of the gate. His grandparents are deceased. What is that, the Lil Red Riding Hood gambit?
He lied about have zero drinks, his eyes are red and his breath smells like booze. The officer was confident enough that he wouldn’t register zero on the breath test, more confident that Tony was clearly. If he blows zero he gets a traffic citation and he’s on his way home. The reality is he’s buzzing and he’s got an open bottle of alcohol in his car while he’s observed passing on the right shoulder multiple times in rush hour traffic.
The idea he’s going to get a false positive is silly. If he blows over they still have to do it again with the proper machine at the station for it to count as proof of intoxication. And if he somehow blew a false positive there, I’m sure he could convince them to draw blood to be sure, because, you know, I didn’t have a single drink! LOL.
This is the behavior of an immature and selfish middle-aged man. That’s what his employer is going to see. The only way out is rehab, pleading guilty, and cleaning up his act. Or just continue on and maybe somebody will hire him some day, probably not.
I wouldn’t want someone judging me for my worst ever behaviour, and I’m not doing that here. Just calling balls and strikes. I’ve been down some rough road, and had to do some facing up. That’s what’s called for here.

He’s going to face repercussions. It was obviously a terrible decision and he and the other commuters are fortunate that nobody got hurt.
That being said it’s one of the more entertaining drunken stop cams I’ve seen. Is almost like a sitcom? Someone needs to throw a laugh track on it.
