From order of importance: Most to Least
QB - OT - WR - CB - DT - ILB - C - TE - Slot - OLB / Nickel - G - RB - S - FB

I’ve been thinking about how to build a team, and while every position is important, they are not equally important. Above is my rough order of importance for a football team, which leads me to ask, “Is this how the Lions are building their team by ensuring the most talented positions (positions of most need) are filled with the most talented players?”

You forgot DE, which should be #2, or #3 on your list.

Personally, I’m a, “trenches first”, guy.
Stars can’t shine without strong line play.
That said, my take is C, OG, OT, DT, NT, DE, then put your “stars” to work.

Yes. Football is a team sport, but you can’t have unity if your line is getting dominated
