Toronto Blue Jays

You guys currently have the 5th best odds in the Ethen Holliday sweepstakes.

I’ll be pulling for you in the lottery. I’ll even wear my lucky cheetah thongs.

Thx bud…the team is overall embarrassing… But Bowden is a bright spot… The bullpen of course is currently blowing this W for him… Dude throws a no hitter for 8 innings and cant get a W…lol

5 more runs off Chad Green in the 9th.

Sucks to be a Jay fan today

Thankfully I stopped watching months ago… Just follow the gamecast on my phone here and there. Gotta be the worst bullpen in mlb… I think we should try letting fans pitch the rest of the season out of the pen… :joy:

Here comes a steel worker… Featuring a knucklbeball… Can’t be worse

Movement! Welcome to Canada, Mr. Santander.

Without clarity on the deferrals, calculating the exact CBT hit for the Jays can’t be done, but some ballparking can give us some guidance for how this affects their balance sheet. RosterResource now projects the club for a $237MM payroll and $263MM CBT calculation for this year. The club opened with a payroll of $225MM last year, per Cot’s Baseball Contracts, so they’re already beyond that.

TBH, $237m payroll for a top heavy lineup and rotation makes me see Chris Illitch in a better light.

Pen is solid but not shown here- Hoffman, Chad Green, Yimi is solid keverage but 7 righties? Trade coming.

Well it’s a lot of money and potentially George Springer contract 2.0 but at least they are trying. Gotta pitch to Vlad more if the guy on deck is a switch hitter with 40 homer power. Vlad should see a lot more fastballs.

The Jays suck but they sure aint cheap. No wonder we signed him…he kills us. Lol

Anthony Santander had a .314 batting average with 50 hits, 15 homers, 34 RBIs and 31 runs scored in 45 games versus the Blue Jays at home in his career.

You talking to me???

I support both teams (for the record). When the Jays were here in July I went to two games. One in Tigers gear, the other in Jays gear.

Both teams won when I wore their gear…just FYI

My 84 year old father is all excited… We signed the Cy Young. I said yes we did. I didn’t tell him what year! Lol

Jays are at least trying. Good chance Max blows out his arm but apparently he’s open to closing… Which is interesting… Hmmmm might just work
