Is he an X or another slot WR?
I know before the draft there was a lot of support for him since he checked all the boxes of being a Lion. Not sure if he’s the same player after his knee injury though.
He’s only 6’0" – not the big body we’re looking for.
I don’t think our X with Jared Goff needs to be a super big body. We mostly just need another guy to go in that room right now.
If our WR4 is a UDFA (Isaiah Williams) and our WR5 doesn’t exist, and someone gets hurt, we could be in A LOT of trouble.

I mean hell look at Miami you have to go to WR 5/6 before you get someone who is above 6 feet
Need or want that is the question.
I would like to see the Lions get a big bodied tall WR-X for those times when a jump ball in the corner of the Endzone is needed.

I agree. I am just saying that there are a few “types” of players out there and the Lions do not have a jump ball pass catcher. I think we all thought DPJ was going to look better and this could also be the issue. Goff is not a fan of putting the ball into a 50/50 situation and banking on his guy to make the catch. He clearly is an anti stress QB. Who hates risk.

Definitely a small percentage of total targets but definitely still need at least 1 of the 5 WRs on the roster to be SOLIDLY over 6’
They need a possession WR. They have Laporta to fill some of that role, but they just need a guy to move the chains and maybe for the red zone. Honestly, I thought DPJ would step up. But nope.
