Trade Idea: Bills' CB Rasul Douglas to Lions?

These kind of trade proposals drive me nuts.

Last season, the Packers traded a 5th Rd pick & Rasul Douglas to the Bills for a 3rd Rd pick.

So, for a soon to be 29 year old CB, the author thinks the Bills can get MORE than what they paid for him, i.e. a 6th Rd pick & Rasul Douglas for a 3rd Rd pick.

Certainly, he had a fine season in 2023:

But, CBs generally tend to get worse, not better, as they approach 30.

No way.
He does not have the speed we need. He’s a #2 corner at best.
