I think FOs have become hair trigger sensitive about it, every little thing gets a guy brought to the sidelines nowadays. Better safe than sorry. And because the coverage (and content creation) had quintupled over the years, it SEEMS worse than it probably is.

Many teams must have copied the Lions training camp habits,
and it has led to an explosion of injuries.
It is certainly MCDC’s fault.
He was just too charismatic and influential for other coaches to ignore, and they copied his approach. /s.

Mays, Biadasz and now Pinter. It’s been a bad couple weeks for starting centers. Crazy thing is we got away much easier than the Ravens and Chargers did.
It’s a little ironic that all 3 teams that lost a Center, are all teams starting a new center this year. Pinter was taking over for Linderbaum who went to the Raiders.

Kubiak teams always do. Seattle last year, and you remember how Kamara blew up for NO early in 2024 before their whole line went down. The man, like his pops, knows how to design a run game.
