I saw something that he was waived injured, and is apparently still having issues with his knee that he hurt last year. I don’t know if that changes things at all, I don’t know what the previous knee injury was.

Love will likely be back for the season opener, even if he is on a limited snap count. It’s not a long term injury.
It’s ridiculous to say Allgeier is the “starting RB for now” when it is the preseason.
Love is their starting RB.
Allgeier may get more touches if Love is bothered by his injury, but he is still a backup RB.
It’s pretty crystal clear.
Allgeier is the starting RB RB1 for the Arizona Cardinals right now.
