Look I know we need offensive line, defensive line , linebackers, and safeties but holy smokes this kid has some talent. I’m just picturing him running our offense after 2 years of development. It would be nice to have someone like him waiting in the wings. He kind makes up for a lot of deficiencies. I would like to hear your opinions on this.
He has petitioned for one more year in college, medical redshirt, see if he gets it.
A lot to like about this kid both talent and character. My question would be similar to J Daniels can his body take the pounding in the NFL.
He’s both thicker and less kamikaze inclined than Daniels. He’s an also significantly less naturally talented. He has talent of course. He’s more Audi than Ferrari though.
Trinidad Chambliss?
Guess what - I’m smokin some right now!

Representing Ferris St!!!
I feel it’s time. We can’t go into another season thinking Goff will be healthy all year. He probably won’t be there when we pick but if he is I would love it.
In the first round?
a smaller, less experienced, lesser skilled version of Hendon Hooker?

*actually love the idea of Chambliss but not for this team, not with a premium pick
He’s projected to go late 2nd/early 3rd round. We don’t have a 3rd and using a second round pick on him is stupid. We have bigger needs.
Sounds like we are revisiting the shiny object quarterback thing again.
Definitely played his ass off last night.
We just used three 3rd round picks on a different D2 QB out of Michigan last year
if he drops to mid rounds, and we don’t trade away all our future 3rds again, sure. I think some people tend to overreact to a college game and not always think about how that will translate to the pros. He likely won’t go as early as some people think.
I did not know he was from Michigan until the broadcast. Cool story he wasn’t even the starter to begin the season and then took the job even after the starter was healthy. He’s tiny but mighty
I would be OK with a mid 3rd round pick.
At some point the next QB has to be on the roster.
They have him listed at 6’ 1 not that he is actually that. If he plays like he did against Georgia he will not get out of the first rd.
He has a quick release and a live arm and can throw in the run.
Appears to be pretty athletic. Just not sure how athletic compared to the NFL.
